Has someone played Old Memorial in Florida? Any comments? I may play there in Oct/Nov. and was just curious. Evidently a very good course- just wanted to get the real scoop from someone who has played it.
Thanks

I've been invited, but I've not been, yet. One of my students is a member. I understand that it's beyond fantastic. I'm told it's men only, walking with caddies only, no menu (chef asks you what you want), not to mention the course being in perfect condition. So, I believe I'd go.
Thanks Ted,
Sounds great except for the men only item- I'll know by late Summer if I'm making the trip.
What do you want them to do? Allow farm animals? Maybe you should write a letter . . . I'll get your box of crayons out for you . . . let's try not to eat them OK?

I think there was a club here in GA that tried to do the men only thing. They caught some grief, so decided to allow women into the membership. Women could join for the same $50,000 initiation fee as their husbands. Also, they got to pay the same monthly dues. Children were the same deal. So, family of four: $200,000 initiation, $2,600 per month.
