7-3 Strokes-basic
7-3 The On Plane Right Forearm shows te precise up-down direction it and the Clubshat must take throughout the Stroke.
Can this be used as visual reference for the initial direction of the takeaway and/or backswing?

As the "expert" I'm dreaming of being , I would say yes. And also in downstroke towards impact and followthru. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Absolutely, Donn. I've got a little thing I do with my alignment rods that dramatically illustrates this point, and a 'video answer' would fit this situation perfectly. [One more item on the 'To Do' list as part of a 'premium' subscription service.]

Meanwhile, it's great to hear from you. You've been a supporter from Day One, and it's been more than two years -- can you believe it? -- since our last get-together at Orange County National. Have you worn 'holes' in your newest set of irons yet? Your old set was unbelievable. Never seen anything like it!

Come see me at Cuscowilla. Accomodations and dinner are on me!

Thank you Yoda
Lynn, I really treasure being one of your friends. I don't
post a lot but I do go to your website twice a day and read
all the posts. There is simply no equal to your understanding
of the golf swing and many of the other things in life.

The direction of the right forearm, on the clubshaft plane at
address, seems to be one of those "silver bullets". When I view
the direction of the right foream, it seems to have a relation
toward the right shoulder. By taking the right forearm, in the
direction that I see to the right shoulder I seem to get very
good results.

I stll hit aprox 2000 balls a week. Not to bad for 71 years old.
I sure look forward to seeing your new training facility.

All the best, Donn

Donn's Private War With the Sweetspot

When Donn and I first met, his irons had worn spots the size of a dime -- they were literally depressions! -- right on the Sweetspot. I had never seen anything like that before, haven't since, and don't expect to again.

Unbelievable.
