Yes you certain can. John Dunigan actually teaches this as I recall.

A Double Shift is what accomplishes this.

Just setting the Forearm in position alone is only one part of the equation. Shoulders, hips etc all go into the definition.

I think that is why Homer defined and has made a point of Impact Fix. If you start from that point and define your address then alignments come easier and accuracy is more attainable.

IMO the downside is that you can adopt a number of variations, all correct but some which are not as optimal for your body's attributes which in turn may not produce the maximum results. But this is a theory I am still thinking about....
