Yoda, I did not give you a complete history before our lesson. I had been a pivot type swinger since I started playing regularly a few years ago. I used the turning of my torso to power my swing. About half way through the lesson I think I might have started talking about how I needed to feel the connection of my upper arm to my chest in my swing but we joked about exorcising the demon and never went back.
Before my trip to see you I was reading the posts on this site and GEA about the magic of the right forearm and hitting the ball using right arm thrust. I was trying to implement this on my own and what you saw was my progress toward that.
When it dries out enough to get to the range I intend to give hitting vs: swinging a good test.
