You’re missing a great learning experience by doing so. The Shaft lean results from straightening your Right Elbow and the Ball Positioned too far back in your stance. You are not “Zeroing out” #3 PP. Perform the Exercise as instructed. Doing so will simplify Hinge Action for “Basic Motion” Acquire the Flat Left Wrist at Impact Fix. Center the Hands. Ball Positioned before Low Point and Right Elbow Bent. You will learn to Flatten the Left Wrist and Bend the Right Wrist with Extensor Action as the RFT slightly Turns the Hands. This will result in your Hands staying inside your Right Hip while your Clubhead travels back, in and up about Two Feet. It hardly feels like you’ve moved anything. Pull? Why Pull? Move your hands to the Left and Roll (Hinge) through Impact with a Flat Left Wrist. Yes, Hitting you “Push”. But with Hitting, you don’t Turn the Hands during the Backstroke as with Swinging. While Hitting, use Extensor Action to Bend the Right Wrist, then, Simply Fan the Right Forearm to Cock the Right Elbow. Then you can Push through Impact without running out of Right Arm. Swinging is just as easy (if not easier) than Hitting. Too much Travel. This Exercise is for Learning Hinging so it's important to position the Ball just before Low Point and Horizontal Hinge (Roll) through Impact. Keep the Primary Lever intact. Do not Bend the Left Wrist through Impact. This exercise is designed to give you time to learn. Last edited by Daryl : 04-25-2010 at 11:52 AM.
