Been lurking around here off & on a while now, but this is my first post. I read TGM probably 15 years ago & knew there was important information in it but couldn't comprehend it. Picked it up again several times since with the same result. After digging in here over the last few weeks some of the fog is beginning to lift; I'm beginning to understand some of the terminology although the paragraph references still leave me in the dark.
Here's my first question: I've been playing for over 40 years now, most of that to a low single-digit handicap, & realize that I have been letting my left wrist break down the entire time. Where do I start to retrain myself to extend the right forearm without losing my wrist wrist bend & breaking down my left wrist at impact? Is it by repetition of the basic & acquired motions monitoring my impact alignment? Thanks...
