Augusta Golf 10-16-2008 10:32 PM

I've finally completed all the DVD's and let me say the Putting section is fantastic. You will find a great explanation of hinge actions that compliment the full swing demonstrations. Your mental computer will really start to soak in all of this information:dance:

Monday Monday

Wow!

From the time yesterday when Bambam flipped the switch on Alignment Golf, orders have been coming in from all over the world. I am humbled, thankful, and, quite frankly . . .

Overwhelmed.

:eyes:

As a result, I spent today putting in place a professional team and procedures to insure that all orders are processed and shipped same day. Our system notifies me of each buyer -- I read every name! -- but takes me out of the loop with regards to immediate order fulfillment. All orders received thus far are now being entered into this system and will be shipped first class mail Monday. Thank you for your patience.

Also, I now will initiate a special, periodic instructional Letter -- punctuated with video explanations -- that will go out exclusively to all who have purchased our videos. Also, there will be a dedicated Forum on LBG -- viewable only by paid customers -- where video concepts can be explored and discussed. I will respond as much as I can. These 'buyer's club only' offerings will be a terrific value-added to those who support me and my site.

Thanks again, guys. LBG is headed to the next level, and it is your continued support and enthusiasm that is taking us there!

Promises Kept

Lynn Blake
Interests:
Helping our members bring power and precision to their game!
Occupation:
To revolutionize the world of conventional golf instruction over the next ten years.

Thanks for keeping a promise :salut: !!!

The answer has arrived

Lynn, I can only speak for myself but I am certain many others feel the same. For far too long I taught the game, attended all the teaching seminars, read all the books I could, and so on.........Then one day I picked up the book that had collected dust for so many years and was introduced to your site (Drewitgolf). Since then something just clicked...each day I learn a little more and I know I am on the path to becoming the instructor I need to be for my students. Thank you:salut:

What topics are covered on the dvd's? Can you provide us with a breakdown of the set (like a table of contents)?

Thanks!

Tincup,

Each disc has a half dozen or so major 'topic' breaks, but in truth, these breaks are somewhat arbitrary. V.J. and I filmed this Series over two days at his home club, Old Waverly Golf Club, in West Point, Mississippi, and the entire work is a virtual 'stream of consciousness' that covers dozens of topics. In the end, only a handful of minor edits were required.

These videos are just so different from anything you have ever seen . . .

Instead of entry level 'This is how to grip the club; this is how to stand to the ball; etc., etc.' - "Bueller, Bueller" -- you find two top flight teaching professionals knockin' it out between each other, talking and demonstrating and demonstrating and talking, all the time letting the muse lead from one critical point to another in perfect creative order.

There are countless ways to present this material, almost all more 'structured' than our Series, but this is the one chosen for me by 'the hand that guides'. It's taken a long time -- 62 years and counting -- but I've finally learned to trust that hand.

And delight in its end result.

I gave the thread "a little bump" just now.

http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/index....ent ry1297000

Notice the DVD cover jpeg came out a little bigger than I thought.

OOOPS , :laughing9 . Hopefully the Powers that Be don't mess with it. :)

Being a Saturday and kind of brisk in some parts (like here) the thread moved to the top of the batting order may get a couple more passers by.

LBG International

The order flow continues strong today, including our first customers from Japan and France. So far, most orders are domestic, but we're also shipping to England, Sweden, Australia, Norway, Poland, Canada, Northern Ireland, and . . .

Mauritius. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauritius

Sure hope I've figured that international shipping right!

I'd just watched the first DVD....man oh man. If you didn't get to Cuscowilla then this is the next best thing. Its a must have for any Machine head.
Great job VJ and Yoda. Well worth waiting for.

For the straight plane line drill, I would like to construct one of those PVC rails. It looks like 2" pipe, about 24" tall x 84" long. If anyone has the specs please post. I guess it's not super critical but would be good to know.

I first talked to Augusta Golf three weeks ago in regards to his attendance at the LBG Homecoming Classic. I later got to know him during the event and, even more, through his subsequent writings.

Augusta Golf -- B. J. Hathaway -- is the real deal: A golf professional dedicated to his students and a new, genuine presence on this site. He brought a lot to the table at Cuscowilla and is earning his LBG spurs every day.

Welcome aboard, B.J.!

Thank you Lynn, that means a great deal coming from you. I feel priviledge to get to know a true Yoda in terms of golf and life wisdom. In just three weeks I have gotten to know a wonderful group of people, all dedicated to learning and teaching this great game. My goal is to be the best instructor that I can be, and the LBG Group is foundation for that goal.

I appreciate you guys having me.

Oh yea.....just to inform you guys that you can play the DVDs on your PCs with no problems at all. Also if you have a TV that can play NTSC and a multi region DVD player then you are all set to go (I viewed all 3 discs this way and tested it out on the PC too)

Thanks,

I'm just so excited about seeing them. Also I had a session with my AI (Coophitter) today; fun as usual and very helpful. I mentioned the dvd's to him if I (better yet when I have) have any question he will surely try to answer them for me.
Thanks again

Yoda
Are there any drills on how to train the pivot on the dvd's? We are having the toughest time training my pivot; I have a sway forward to the target side that I haven't been able to cure after 2 years of working on it. On video when we are training Zone 1 it doesn't show up; but when I start working on other things it shows its ugly head. My zones 2 and 3 are starting to become world class but my Zone 1 is holding me back from become a real player. ::sad2: Please advise

Oh yea...in Disc one there is an explaination on how to use the proper pivot and then on Disc two (Drills disk) the first 3 drills are all about training the proper pivot and then there is a section on the MacDonald Drills as well.

Before ya'll get too excited, there are no Big Mac's or Quarter Pounders associated with these drills:naughty:

GPStyles 10-24-2008 10:58 AM

nothing in deepest darkest Northern Ireland yet :crybaby:

I'm reckoning on 10 days to delivery so hopefully sometime at the start of November.

Yoda, can I ask if you have a recommended viewing pattern to them (hopefully that doesn't sound too stupid)

What I mean is, should I watch them in their entirety and then go back over them in detail (what I plan to do) or should I just watch each section and not move on until I have 'got' it?

Thank you in advance
