For another student who summoned his game to the heights that same week, go to my post #17 here: http://lynnblakegolf.com/forum/showt...+vegas+d aryl.
For a PGA TOUR professional who that week did the same, go here: http://lynnblakegolf.com/forum/showt...+vegas+d aryl. :salut: |

Why is JB's right palm up at both address and impact? Why does it look like only #2 accumulator release before impact and @3 no release until after impact? If there is right arm thrust from his swing can it be other than with a pitch motion if the right palm remains up?

I almost understand this and I am LMAO!

If he did truly hit, would JB stop his hands at shoulder height and drive his inmpact hands straight to his aiming point? Thanks. Patrick Quote:

Without going back and rereading all of these posts..........I got a game in an hour to get ready for....... Yes, If he was 12-1 'ing it. But there are options for the Hitter and the nature of right arm participation can be very hard to label sometimes. A Hitter could for instance go to End then undue a little #2 Angle and return to a classic Hitters Top, a "bounce" like David Toms or KJ Choi. Take out the little Delivery Path Arc from End to Top and then Drive Load. Is this a recommendable procedure or an attempt to get the club parallel to the ground, Position golf? I dunno. You could argue it both ways. There's a good chance neither of those guys know why they bounce I bet. I do it when Drive Loading myself and it looks to my eyes like a 12-1 with some unnecessary added flourishes. Changes are hard to make. The physics of Thrusting tends to reveal itself. If you're a Hitter with Drag Loading then going to End makes more sense. Your loading the knuckle instead of the first joint in the #3pp etc. There are trillions of options. But 12-1 and 12-2 is for sure the place to start. You've got to be able walk before you run etc etc. Master them first before you move on. Not that you need to move on or anything. 12-1 can be like cheating for some. Very useful. Homer thought we'd learn to absolutely love it, just as written. JB probably doesnt know , doesnt care about 12-1. But he is subject to the physics of Hitting , assuming he is Hitting. I think he is. Hitting Alignments reveal themselves, however slight they may be. That is inescapable. Like the glare of your wifes eye as you're getting your clubs ready to leave .............got to go.. |
Thanks OB. 72 degrees here tomorrow.
1st round of year and 1st TGM round.:laughing9
I was so confused at the end of last year that I got out my old Nick Faldo books and pretended to be him with better interpersonal skill, however.:eyes: Swing thoughts for the day: Waggle the hit above the ball but on plane from address hands. Keep tripod firm and watch the ball get smashed! Steady acceleration! If I shoot above a 45 on front 9, use the swing motion to save the score! Good luck to all of us and good weather!:golf: Patrick Quote:
