Wonderful Pictures. Don't know how you do it, but you
are great. I loved the first set where you could see two club/hand positions in the same picture on the downswing. Please keep pictures coming. Donn |
One of my favorite swings. Incredible accum. lag.
I wish my dad had made me swing adult clubs when I was 5 too. :) |

Amazing 4 iron on the 17th
I thought this 4 iron on the 17th, day 4, was pretty amazing. Those of you who saw the context will probably agree... Uphill lie. 240+ from the pin. Carried past the pin & rolled off.
The hole was 594 yards. Again: Past the pin in 2, with a 4-iron. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLnv6F5ImV4 Here's some context. (Vijay had 265 for his second shot on same hole). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ3cm1FCSXk |

Michael Phelps has hypermobile ankles. Hogan, Nicklaus and other greats have hypermobile thumbs. Is Sergio equipped with hypermobile wrists? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypermobility = http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...ed&redirect=no |
I love that 3/4 view from the front. As if you the camera were set up to observe both arms straight. Never noticed how quiet his lower body is through impact. Wow. If you put your hand over his upper body you get about 4 frames of lower body doing nothing. From release to follow through.
I wonder if this is necessary given the amount of lag he has at release? So solid and planted. A real whip cracker. I remember Homer homer talking about a set position for the hips to turn to on the backswing did he mention a hip "stall" (if you will) position through impact? A set amount of turn? I tend to keep on clearing but then I dont have anywhere near that much pivot or club lag. O.B. |
