Finish Swivel

Do a search for finish swivel in the forum archives.

There is some good info on this in the Colin Neeman video series in the gallery

Check out the video from Lynn called "Swivel"-
http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/gallery...7/swivel11.wmv

Lynn talks about why some shorten their left arm after impact.

There is also a sequence of the swing shown at the beginning and the end of the clip.

Maybe this will help: in the frame at the bottom, look where both arms are straight for the first time and the direction they are facing. Beside remaining in front of the chest, the clubshaft is NOT pointing at the target but angled about 45 degrees across the base line. This is where they straighten together for the first time. The rotation doesn't stop and the arms keep moving but if you wait to face the target before straightening the arms, it is too late because the left arm has too move inside and up. That shortens the left arm anyway on the way to finish so it will be too late to straighten, you then lost rhythm and a your Horizontal Hinge action.

Notice Lynn's closing clubface, too.

The reason you have "chicken wing" is you intend to:
1.
"steer the ball to the target (or straight)" or
2. "pick up the ball to the air (or high)" or
3. "hack the ball to the other end of the world (or far)"
with the club, or
4. their combinations.

It won't be eliminated unless you eliminate the intent.

Anyhow... swing thoughts.

Let your right arm fully unfold in the downswing and complete your finish swivel.

But i thought this error have many causes?

And the main reason is casting? Which causes FAT shots, and they have to compensate by bobbin upwards or shortening the arm. Agree with what BTS say.

For flat left wrist, no finish swivel. That i understand.
