Most/Least

Who is or was the best player with the most LAG(CLUBHEAD and/or ACCUMULATOR LAG), and who is or was the best player with the least LAG?

I'll start-- Most- Billy Andrade

Least- Tom Weiskopf

Why do you think they were both good players?

Billy hits the ball pretty well and is a good putter.
Tom must have enough CLUBHEAD LAG to compress the ball... he is very long. Some of you may not remember Tom, but during his time he was one of the the best players among the very long hitters.

i would say hogan was the best ballstriker with the most lag and today it would be sergio he pounds it with tons of lag and is really straight. another good player with very little lag is tom watson.

I guess another way to forward the question is: Who has been the best players with high and low trajectory?

My vote goes to Hogan and Nicklaus.

Nicklaus was known to be able to hit 1 iron over trees that required 6 irons for the other players. He was high and straight, partly because he was having the ball close to the bottom of his swing path.

Which of the three types of lag are we talking about here first?

Clubhead, Accumulator or Pivot lag?

Sergio has a ton of accumulator lag. All good players have clubhead lag, I dont know if there is a way to objectively measure lag?

We are talking about Accumulator Lag(late hit), and/or Clubhead Lag(forward leaning shaft at impact)
