Putting stroke with chipping.
 
anyone tried using shoulder putting stroke for chipping.. low point is below the spine. Utilising the bounce more.. I love it... especially i got bad pin placements( drunk greenkeeper) that is sleek as glass in my course.

only the occasional " too much spin" caused by scooping or deceleration.

Do you think this method is feasable? or the arm stroke chipping is better? Just curious why I don't see it that often.

Left arm perfectly straight, no cocking of the wrist, with the ball played off the back foot for me. The club is moved by bending and straightening of the right arm only. Add a little pivot for the longer shots.

A "putting" type chip shot for me all too often ended up being bladed across the green.
