Legend Financial Group Classic Presented by Cynergies Solutions

Hi guys,

It's off to Cleveland for the Nationwide's Legend Financial Group Classic Presented by Cynergies Solutions. Whew, now that's a spicy meat-ball! I'll be there through Wednesday and will report back when I can.

:3gears:

Meanwhile, everybody do their part and keep the homefires burning here at LBG. I read every post and am truly awestruck with the quality of what is being contributed. Thanks to all who are making it happen. :salut:

Thanks, asleep. I'll be on an airplane tomorrow morning out of Cleveland and back in The Swamp for a lesson at 3 p.m.

Can't wait!

In the Hunt

John Riegger is seeking his second victory of the year in today's final round. With rounds of 70-67-68=205, he's 8-under for the tournament and four shots back (T11).

Ian Leggatt is at -5 and is T24, and Robin Freeman is at -1 and is T53.

Charge!

End Game

Congratulations to John Riegger on another fine tournament. He added a 3-under 68 today for a total of 273 (-11), good for a T5 (in a 156-man starting field) and a check for $18,440.62. This puts John at $191,289 for 11 events and in 6th place on the Nationwide money list. Since the top 25 at year-end earn their 2008 PGA TOUR card, things are lookin' good.

Today was extremely hot and muggy -- "like a sauna," John told me over the phone after the round -- and physically very tough for him. In fact, he was one of four players requiring IVs after the round. He was playing "on pure adrenalin" the last few holes, and after the bogey on 16, had nothing left.

Meanwhile, Ian Leggatt completed his best tournament of the year, finishing T40 at 2-under 282, despite a final round 74 (+3). Robin Freeman closed with a 73 for 285 (+1) and T55.
