Revisiting Sequenced release!

http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/forum/s...nswing+pl ane

This thread has some fascinating stuff by Mathew and others... especially explaining what Hogan felt in "Modern Fundamentals" about his downswing plane going out to right field...

Anybody had any more thoughts about this?

It seems that a FLW is guaranteed for a swinger if you just uncock on plane and let the roll happen? FLW "occurs" rather has to be held rigidly? DOes that sound right?

Thanks for your thoughts

Fully uncocked

How to avoid fully uncocked of the left wrist before impact?

Instead of you, let the "Law" release it. Or, you don't do it, the "Law" does.

"Cause" and "Effect"

It "feels" that way! With "Lag", however, you don't need to "feel" that way. The plane line is supposed to be parallel to the target line.

Absolutely! Need a straight-left(lead)-arm roll, though.

If Obeyed (on-planed swing), the "Law" does everything (the "effect") for you.

The "cause" is "Sustain the Lag" and the "effects" are the "Imperatives" and "Essentials" and all the rest of good stuff.

Hi Bucket, am i right in thinking that the "level" position of the left wrist is "most stretched out" that the left arm can be and this will occur when the no.2 acculmulator has given max speed....and the left arm can be stretched no further the left forearm automatically rotates in form of accumulator 3??

I always struggled to see why the left forearm should rotate at "left wrist level" position rather than uncocked... but i can just about believe it if the level position represents the longest the left arm gets to... then the force of clubhead can't stretch it any further so it just rotates...

Not a great explaination, i know, but just trying to convince myself of why it works...

But work it really does seem to do... so fast through impact and it actually makes it easy to stop the hands at "follow through"... someting i always found hard to do when i was holding( with active and conscious muscle power) the left wrist flat...:golf:

Thanks BTS, it does seem that with a stationary "something" ( head or base of cervical spine) that it feels "out to right field"... whilst in reality just tracing plane line.

Since trying to left wrist non-automatic random / snap release i have , without really thinking about it, also changed to a more standard wrist action!
