Weekend just passed I played a 36 hole 2 day event. Shot 79 76 so nothing too spectacular. But on the 8th hole round 2 I had my best poley ever.

Par 4 about 350m. Hit a draw driver around a tree on the slight dogleg, left me with 125 to go. Took 9 iron and put a great swing on it (I am really starting to understand what a swing:golf: is opposed to a swit) and the ball started about 2m right of the flag, drew in and hit the pin half way up, would have been within 5 ft for sure as the green sloped back towards me so the ball would have stopped.

Anyhow, as it was ball ricochet off the green and I made a good up and down for par...either way that shot felt great!

Way to go!

Mybest polie was 2 weeks ago at a pennant match at Ballan in oz,all square going the last,my opponent had played his second and finished on f/edge,I hit a 7iron from 145 mts ,it apparently landed 1mtr short and to the right and kicked to left and in the hole. I never saw it as there were shadows on the green,all I really remember at the time was ,flw and hit down and out...There is another tgmer here that can verify it....Thanks Mr kelly and LBG
