Cuscowilla -- #1 in Georgia / 2009 Golfweek Magazine
 

Got my latest Golfweek (March 14th issue) yesterday and went straight to the cover story, the annual ranking of Golfweek's Best golf courses in the United States. The ranking is in three parts:

1. Classic courses (pre-1960);

2. Modern courses (post-1960); and

3. State-by-state public access courses (resort or daily fee, Classic and Modern).

I first turned to the state-by-state listing. There, under the Georgia heading, I found that The Golf Club at Cuscowilla was once again ranked #1.

Then, to the national list of post-1960 courses (resort, daily fee and private). There, Cuscowilla ranked #39.

To say that I am privileged to operate the Lynn Blake Golf Academy at Cuscowilla is an understatement. One of the Great Golf Resorts of the World, it is a perfect place to host my students and help them improve their games.
