aaaahhhhhh...finally.

first round outdoors...a healthy 40F with 35mph gusts sideways all day long.

kinda odd when people have coffee after a round of golf :naughty:

started stupid with 2 doubles and 2 bogeys but settled down and scored a 38 on the back with 2 birds and a eagle! on a 540yard par 5, 2 powerdraws into the green :thumleft:

very happy with the first round, but too happy to finally get out and around a golf course, man does winter suck!

Powerdraw has my vote for the best opening round of the season, especially given his Canadian snow/ice difficulty points!

I had mud on my ball after just about every drive and I would have had a better chance making putts in the parking lot than on the greens... but it's great to be back! :golf:

Gotta love spring golf up north..you don't look for your ball on the ground after you hit it, you look for it in or under the ground! excavate, clean, and place :laughing9

oh yeah, we putt on spiked greens that look like a bad toupet, chip over remaining dirty snow, hit iron shots off mushy grass so the cat-sized divots pretty much stick to the clubface and falls over ya at finish. And of course...the drive...i recommend line-drives in the rough coz if you hit a perfect carry high shot in the middle of the fairway, better take out a provisional ball! Honestly, its pretty much the fastest way to find other players PROVX's...gotta lov us canucks!
