Cathy Schmidt Runnerup in Southeastern LPGA Sectional Championship

Cathy Schmidt today finished runnerup in the Southeastern LPGA Sectional Championship. She was tied with ultimate winner Judy Dickinson, 4-time LPGA Tour event winner, after round one.

This was far and away Cathy's best performance in an important event. In fact, it marked her return to competitive golf in more than a decade. As readers of these pages know, Cathy just two weeks ago spent three days at Cuscowilla prior to the championship, working hard to round her game into form. http://lynnblakegolf.com/forum/thread8100.html
