FYI - I saw that error last night too, when responding to a post (yet the post worked)

Error Message

We caught the error yesterday morning and investigated it.

The forum uses the emailer script to send PM's and post messages. There appears to be a long standing bug in the SW that causes the message to pop up. It appears to be tied to the backend PHP mail service which is maintained by the ISP. We have submitted a trouble ticket to our host provider and also to the phpBB open source community.

For the time being, ignore the message.

As you may have noticed, the posts and PM's seem to go through even though the message pops up. We may need to tolerate this until we migrate to the new forum. We are running on the very latest forum software.

That brings me to the next subject. We aren't standing still!!!

We are aggressively developing a new forum and website on another site. The new forum will run on a "supported" software package and contain many more features that we currently have here. The new website will be very professional in appearance and has all of the neat bells and whistles that the very best commercial sites contain. As we get closer to launch we will give y'all a heads up on the cutover.

We have enlisted Bambam to help us in this effort. He's a commercial graphics artist, web developer, and teaches college courses in each. Some great things are coming!

Thanks again for your patience.

Bagger

As Bagger said, we are looking into this already.

I am working with our current host to get this resolved. Many customers on our host are experiencing the same error on their forums. It appears to be an issue with the host.

Thanks for your patience while we get this resolved.
