Is this a motion convention of which I am unaware
It has been too long since you folks had to suffer me, so I thought I would pop a question.

It has to do with the vids of John Riegger in the gallery. In both Basic and Acquired Motion he does his setup thus... he does a pretty good job of aligning the shaft with his right forearm... places the clubhead behind the ball .... takes his setup... and for the very last thing, changes his right hand grip, dropping the handle down in his fingers.... and his forearm goes off alignment with the shaft and the plane.????

Then when I looked at his forestroke framebyframe, he will extend his right hand past level to get everything back aligned at impact. Sometimes he makes it, sometimes he doesn't.

Is this a preferred motion? Or specifically for Swingers?

The reason I ask is because this setup alignment is so common to the pros. But it would completely foul my swing(Hit). I would probably take the club to Top fine, but I guarantee that I would roll my Angled Hinge in the forestroke. Fore Left!
