No... it doesn't happen during the swing. When the club is suspended the CG of the club seeks the low spot... That's where the ineria is minimized. when its twisted from this pos. , the hossel naturally rotates around the cog. When swinging the club... force is imparted not the the cog but to the shaft through the grip. It would be leading (on the plane of the swing) and the Cog would naturally want to "fall in line" on the plane. The face would want to open not close.
