According to the Mr. K's concept of the Parallel Pivot all motion including the Pivot and Hip Slide is to be PARALLEL to the selected Delivery Line. So if the player is adhering to the 10-5-A True Geometric Plane Line the Hip Slide (hula hula) is On-Line. But if the player is using the 10-5-E Angle of Approach Delivery then the Hip Slide/Pivot is CROSS-LINE out to right field. That is the geometry. That is the beauty of Mr. K's 2-J-3 Plane Line Equivalents . . . all motion adheres to the delivery line.
