Clear the right hip in the backswing for the right elbow to move the clubshaft and hands up the plane and keep it cleared for the downswing to allow for the right arm to straighten down and not collide with the right hip in the downswing, clear the left hip so both arms have room to get to both arms straight and on plane for the follow through. I think hands down the.best way to work this into your swing is the high school hips drill as bucket called it. David toms is seen doing this drill as well as VJ trolio recommends this drill on alignment golf 2. Stick an alignment stick between your belt loops so it's parallel to your shoulder line. This will exaggerate the Need to clear the hip and gives you a great feel an visual for the clearing. Combine this with feet together and you are golden!!!
