Before reading TGM that was more or less my conception of a swing, the left arm pulls the club. But then one tends to actually muscularly pull the left arm... away from the body ! That would be steering. I think that having the body pushing on the (inert) left arm that automatically pulls the club is a better image. I guess Homer would say even more: the right shoulder going downplane (at least for TSP player) "pushes around" the left shoulder, that pushes on the left arm etc... Another reason to put our mind on the right side is PP3 to monitor lag pressure. Maybe you'd like to think of a right hand karate chop rather than a left side chop?
