Speaking of threadjacking...
I tried to buy a glove at a golf course and went to try one on. The guy behind the counter said trying gloves on was not allowed. I tried to pay for it first, then try them on and it was a no go.
I looked for a bucket hat to purchase, but they didn't have any. I tried to engage the fellow in a bit of a discussion in order to purchase something, but he wasn't interested.
