With me it's fear of making a mistake. I sometimes feel that my game is just two bad shots away from code orange meltdown status. FEAR.

What is going to happen to you, if your round melts down?

Lag Pressure
Can you feel the lag pressure? With or without the ball we should be able to feel that, there is a pressure in our fingers and which goes against the grip.
WIthout the pressure, you are swinging the club without the rhythum.
Our fingers sense the speed and surrounding, as we have more experience in operating our fingers then any other components in our body... I guess...
Good rhythum is all about sensing the pressure and speed, and making use of the momentum.
You got to have the fingers feel, in order to have a good set of educated hands.
Try throwing your car keys to the centre of your bed from 20 feet. If you are using your pivot to trigger the swing, you get less feel of distance. Experienment with the SHOULDER then the ARM. And the last thing your want is to use your fingers. Get someone to look at your swing. You are using your whole body to assit your motion, eventhough you are using your finger (HAND CONTROLLED PIVOT)
And let me know what gives you the best rhythum, THE PIVOT, THE SHOULDER, THE ARM or the fingers.

Educated hands is all about HANDS AND EYES coordination, and the secret of it is MOTOR LEARNING.....

If you believe your hands will hurt when you swing faster with a ball then you won't. Have you had that experience or is it your mind. As far as what your hands feel like when your swing faster just throw a ball a short distance than through one a lot futhur . That's the feel. Recently in learning to hit the ball rather than swinging the image I was given was the ball was not a 4 oz. ball it was a 50 pound ball hit it. I did the ball went furthur and my hands did not hurt. I also was told to hit a impact bag as was well supported with my right arm. I gave it a full go and man did my shoulder hurt. The AI never thought I would give it that effort. The method for me is just do it. You want to hit it furthur swing faster. If your basic mechanics are good the ball will go farther and I bet straighter. If your out of balance during or after the swing then back off.
