I know you have a busy schedule, but has any release date set?
Drew,

With VJ in Mississippi, Katrina definitely disrupted our plans for editing and release. Speaking of 'wind' problems, we also had some of that on a portion of the first disc and may not release it due to audio concerns. However, the other two look good. I'll get with VJ and we'll make a decision soon. Thank you for your interest in this series.
How bad is the sound problems ? - perhaps you could run certain filters (noise reduction, noise gates...etc) digitally on the sound if has this not already been done...

Id be happy to help if you need it....

Thanks, Mathew. I'll talk to our editing person and see if the wind noise can be reduced. So far, we haven't had a lot of luck: An entire Orlando series last winter was scrapped because of it -- and this with a recommended professional manning the sound and camera.

The good news is that I'm learning a lot about how the elements (wind, rain and glaring sun) and 'normal' golf course noise can really play havoc with a home-spun video. Either that, or I've become a magnet for airplanes, heliocopters, gas-powered maintenance carts, approximately one million kids on a swimming pool excursion coinciding with my film schedule, you name it.

There is need for a low-cost, professional videographer in my life. Preferably in the Atlanta area...
