If you buy a book called "Extraordinary Golf" by Fred Shoemaker you´ll find pictures in the book showing the students in a sequence hitting on a golfball and in the next sequence doing this drill. It´s a remarkable difference in Accumulator Lag. I´ve seen the same thing doing this to my students.

just a tiny contribution.
Against a wall on the trailing side helps my friend alot. if the club knocks the wall, or the acceleration not constant you will hit the wall.

He tried to solve casting for 15 yrs in playing golf and this eventually helped him.

Nuke,
I am not clear what you mean.
Can you elaborate some?
Thank you.

You can put any kind of stuffs about on the trailing side , a bag, plastic pipes etc, Just enough about an arm length away from your trailing shoulder.

Then Go to the top of the swing , then swing down.

You must attempt to accelerate the club longitudinally, or you will hit that barrier. And your motion Drop the club to waist height then Turn everything in sequence also.

Be careful dont destroy something you like .. or something thats too hard to destroy your club.

More like a Quick Fix . but that at least will get you to know what longitudinal acceleration and swinging with some lag feels like.
