What Really Matters
For most of us, this is a game, for some, it's so much more...

There is a gentleman on FaceBook who has two young pre-school kids he is teaching the game. They are AWESOME. This gentleman is doing such a wonderful job in getting them started. I thought I would share some videos from Yoda, Rick, Ted, and BJ Hathaway to be sure he stays on the right track. He so appreciates any help given him, as well as any positive comments. Here is the response I got back:

=======================

"Thank you so much Coach.. it takes a villiage Sir! I do this not for my own glory but to bring to light what has been deemed fruitless by the many. I come from a place where the percentages have one or both of my sons not graduating from Highschool. One if not both at some point being incarcerated. One if not both psycologically damaged beyond normal social capabilities. We have turned our consious away from those so-called issues of the world and have submerged ourselves in the world of golf where we feel safe and capable. We can be alone without golf. We are beyond ordinary reason. We are not playing for the love of the golf world. We play for the love of ourselves. We hope to show our own area and the world what is possible with True -Selfesteem and not the chip on the shoulder don't diss me attitute that prevails in society today. The best is yet to come Coach!"

=======================

This note has me in tears. All I did was share the work of my friends and teachers I admire. The thanks for helping change lives goes to you guys.

Kevin
