If their is a real TRICK to being an effective GI (Golf Instructor) or AI (Authorized TGM Instructor) it is finding the RIGHT PATTERN for that particular student.
While ANY sound pattern will produce good range results if done correctly, finding one you can do UNDER PRESSURE wil undoubtedly be a better 'fit.'
Don't give up becuase 1 or 2 patterns don't get it done.
There are TRILLIONS more and certainly 100's more really good ones.
This has been big for me man...strayed too far away from my tendencies for a while...but what can I say...I've learned a hell of a lot along the way.
Developing my OWN pattern...that works for me.

Build upon as many of your own tendencies as possible....while keeping ideal mechanics in mind...BTW...something like: "I have the tendency of a bent left wrist at impact" is prolly something you should try to improve upon.
Flat left wrist, flat left wrist, flat left wrist.
The #1 imperative but also IMHO the most difficult part of
TGM to master for the typical golfer. Just view the Ben Doyle video on this sight for confirmation.
