I'd like to see Ted (or Lynn)show the beginning of a hitter preparing to hit a ball.
I see and read a lot of info on the actual swing motion and planes.
But I think it would be cool to see the player all the way from standing behind the ball and visulizing the shot to stepping in and aligning to what are the final swingthoughts before takeaway. I know there are many variations but perhaps they could just do the standard square to square set-up.
Sounds short but there are a lot of things to check - grip, stance, ball location, knee flex, etc.
I just would like to see hear an accomplished player go through his checklist before the swing.
I'm a hitter but swingers may want to see someone do this for swinging.
1. 3-F-5 Setting UP
a. The Practice Stroke
b. The Waggle
c. The Forward Press
In particular video of the first two that are in two views. The Forward Press could be stills of each element.
The second 12-1 and 12-2 vids or stills but with the analysis and maybe pointing out the components, much like Yoda has just done with Elks short game shot. This would probably have to be Yoda as the model since not many golfers seem to have an uncompensated stroke.
Identifying components within the golf stroke IMO is not always as straight forward as maybe it should be.
I'd like to see the right forearm takeaway for swingers and hitters for the basic motion, acquired motion, and total motion. I conjunction with this, I'd like to see how the RFT results in an on plane shaft for all three motions. If it were possible to show this in slow motion, that would be even more informative.
Finally, anything shown from the golfer's perspective as he looks at the ball would be a revelation.
I would love to see a video, or even just an article by Yoda and company that deals specifically with the STAR system triad. It would be a bonus to see this for both hitters and swingers applied to basic, acquired, and total motion. I think this would be good because I cannot recall a video that specifically address all 3 imperatives and how to put them together.
I have another idea: Go through each item in the Mechanical Checklist for all strokes for hitting and swinging.
I know video is asking alot, but articles from 'Yoda's corner' would be sufficient.
But in the end, 'The Gallery' is an absoluet treasure chest and I am grateful for all the effort put in by everybody to make it so great.

In the last couple of videos (all of which I have found very helpfull) there has been a lot of background noise from both wind and cows/ buckets ex-girlfriend apparently. What about shooting the videos indoors, it would help with sound quality i would think. Not complaining, just suggesting.
I have a clip coming soon called "Our Old Friends the Flying Wedges" You will see Yoda help a student with set-up, right forearm take-away, wrist action and understanding that the flying wedges are the foundation for everything Homer wrote. The camera work will be up close to see the hands and some from bird's eye view to see the plane. New perspectives producing new fog burning light. This new clip should generate plenty of questions. Hope by the end of the week.

Excellent. Thanks Mike!
Looking forward to seeing it.
