I have been a member of this awesome site for just a couple of weeks, but adopting the TGM philosophy of the hands governing the swing has already increased my driving distance with 20%. However, the last days, at the range, I have found that when I start my downswing by increasing the left wrist cock(increasing the wright wrist bend), I get an even more delayed hit. I have searched the book for support of this maneuvre but have not found it. Is the move that I describe compatible with TGM philosophy?

20% distance increase after a few weeks of reading this forum...wow! Can we use that as a testimonial? Kidding of course.
You may have discovered float loading.
But increasing right wrist bend doesn't effect left wrist cocking motion.
Welcome to the forum and spend some time searching on concepts like left wrist cock. There are also some great videos that describe the motions.

Dear Bagger Lance! I have a scupulous witness to my swing transformation(not in one week but in four! )This guy has always, wrightly, accused me of strangling the ball by a too early closure of the clubface. That move is gone and my feeling now is that the hands lead all the way against a steady right hip and shoulder with the club following like a whip end. That feeling becomes more pronunced by starting the downswing with an acutization of the left wrist Since I have a relatively flat swing plane my right wrist tends to bend more concomitantly as does my right elbow. It´s just amazing! I just wish to add that my witness, being a lowhandicapper (2.6) has experienced an increasing distance by letting the arms do the work in the TGM fashion. You know that 100% of 1 equals 2!
