Alex Sloan's DVD
Anyone heard of this?

"He met Homer Kelley, the author of "The Golfing Machine," in 1981.
"He was a genius. What he taught is an infallible way to get information on how to play golf. But we as human beings are not infallible. What he advocated is based on Newton's Law of Physics and you can't argue with that."
Kelley passed away in 1983, but his book is now in its seventh edition. Sloan, who was with Kelley when he died conducting a golf school, decided to produce a DVD on the subject based on feedback from pupils in a class he taught at the local YMCA a year or so ago.
"It's 50 minutes long but is basically five hours of condensed golf lessons. I've had a very positive response to it."

Quoted from Ian Thompson's golf column.

Alex Sloan Health
I believe Alex is in bad health....cancer? Someone please verify this. Could be the reason you're not hearing back from him by email.

Thanks,

DG

I spoke with Mr. Sloan on the phone one afternoon for what I assumed would be a quick phone call. I felt that it was important to speak with as many folks as possible that spent time with Mr. Kelley. Mr. Sloan could not have been more gracious and generous with his time! We spoke for almost 2 hours. He didn't know me from a can of paint. The man is passionate about the Machine and golf. It was truly an honor and a pleasure speaking with him. He has some great stories and is a true Machinist.

Mr. Sloan would be great to have your participation on this site.
