Happy Holidays Bambam!
Congratulations to Ben and wife Becky.

Jackson Benjamin Mahan was born Saturday, December 1, 2007.

Baby Jack weighed in at 6lbs 2oz., and 19 inches. According to Bambam, it was a smooth delivery, but since they live nearly 70 miles from the hospital you can imagine there was a little anxiety on the way.

The Stork beat Santa on delivering Blessings this year. The original due date was Christmas.

Make Room For Jackson!

This email just in from Bambam at 9:10 p.m. on December 1, 2007:
We got an early Christmas surprise today. Long story short, Becky's due date was the 24th, she was schedule to be induced on the 13th, but she started feeling bad on Friday and began having regular, painful contractions about 1AM. We went half way to the hospital at 3AM and came home, then went back for good at 8:30 am. She started pushing at 5:30 and 2 pushes later we had a baby! We're thankful for a very smooth birth and healthy mom and baby Jack.

Here are the obligatory stats: Jackson Benjamin Mahan - 6.2 lbs, 19"

Congratulations Ben and Becky!

congrats
Way to go Bambam!

May God bless the little guy with good health and happiness.

But, you know that Hitter status has a threshold of 7.75 lbs. Just what the world needs...another Swinger.

Thanks guys! I was a little nervous about the long drive; it's not quite 70 miles but is an hour drive...I may have done that drive a little faster on Saturday morning .

Ted, I had my hopes up that Jack would be bigger than his brother. He measured about 6.8 lbs on Monday's ultrasound and with a couple weeks to go we figured we break the 8lb mark (interestingly enough, Becky wasn't quite as happy about that). It was not to be

I've got a couple little guys who will need lessons in a few years, so pencil me in.

Congrats BamBam. Enjoy the ride!

I'd be honored. They have a spot.
