Please.

As I read your post, you've got it backwards!

Have you looked at exchange rates lately?

The dollar ain't exactly hitting new highs against the Pound! In fact, late last year, it reached a 26-year-low.

And today it takes a full buck-and-a-half U.S. to buy one, once-lowly Euro. A far cry from the not-so-long-ago when the dollar bought a Euro and had change left over!

So, today, we have this: 50 Pounds Sterling = 97.81 U.S. Dollars.

With my absolute arithmetic, you will be getting my stuff for half price!

And that's the way the world is working right now.

You're happy.

We're happy!

I think.

I am still not happy though.

I agree that it is in my interest to purchase US goods at current exchange rates. However, that was not the point I (so clumsily, it appears) was trying to make. Nor, was I angling for LBG products on the cheap; far from it as we have so much priceless stuff here for free already.

Okie said to charge "us" more. I said (not too cleverly, backwards even, it seems) that we already pay considerably more more on like for like goods - e.g

Nissan Murano 4x4 = $26330 basic US price.
Nissan Murano 4x4 = £30190 basic UK price - and that = $58750

Gas to run the thing on = $4.40 per gallon in CA, the most expensive State in the US.

Gas to run the thing on = £6.08, national UK average, and that = $11.84

See what I am saying......................and why?

Javier,

We would have said "nei" to Europe also if we had been given the chance.

Sucking fumes!

Socialism tends to do that! Bureacracy is never cheap! Of course my comment was tongue in cheek, but the plight of the ailing and once great dollar is not that funny. I will start bartering poultry (Bucket?) before I use the "Amero." How are those gas futures?

Socialism has not fixed these prices, nor has Bureaucracy intervened. Nissan fixes the asking price for their products same as the oil cartels are fixing things for themselves.

I would be happy to pay what you guys pay for this stuff but I am not given the opportunity to do so.

I reckon you're wrong on this one burner.

Yoda will have an in-store price in dollars. The only difference to us will be the shipping costs.

I trust the DVD will be import tax exempt LB!

what's the latest on completiton Yoda?

Will there be a section on the finish swivel? This is my big bug-bear area at the moment - if there is a good section on it on the site somewhere I'd appreciate a link.
