This one of my favorite books, but it takes a few readings to digest, especially once Murphy leaves Burning Bush.
One of my favorites, too. When winter sets in I like to just sit down under a lamp and delve in for awhile. I kind of like the mysticism and in my minds eye Shivas Irons looks an awful lot like Sean Connery.
I liked the first part - except the parts with written scotish dialect, which made it difficult to read & understand. A lot of mysticism. But not the last part - too much mysticism and philosophy almost like a New Age book from the 1970/80's. Not my cup of tea.
