McLean's new GD article
are you a thrower or a dragger? Does anyone else see this as a blatant ripoff?

Mr. McLean has studied TGM and I really enjoy his work. Lots of really good teachers, with lots of really good ideas, and lots of great ways to swing the club, with even more ways to splain 'em..

No other YODA's out there though...

McLean's New GD Article
McLean paid credit to HK and Ben Doyle in his early books that he wrote. His name was in HK's log book of who visited his studio in Seattle. His dad worked at Boeing as did HK. It all comes together on the HK tree.

I regard TGM as encyclopedic which is to say it is a treasure of good ideas. I have a 12 volume set of Physical Science encyclopedias in my class. Someone who decides to market light bulbs, let's say, is not ripping off the idea. However, did you know the new 'efficient" bulbs can give you UV burns in some cases since they are not required to be made with a UV filter?

GE makes them and guess who gave a lot of money to POTUS?

Hi,

Jim McLean has credited Ben Doyle and Homer Kelley, along with others, with helping him understand the golf swing. Due to the short nature of magazine articles information is paired down to the essential message.

Furtunately for us we know the source of that information and can get the complete story, the little yellow book, this forum or as Mr. Kelley suggested a Golfing Mahine/Alignment Golf instructor.

So let's not shoot the messanger and be happy that the Mr Kelley's information is getting out there.

Perhaps since he used Thrower and Dragger instead of Swinger and Hitter, he didn't feel it necessary to credit Ben or Homer in that particular article. Besides, I thought Hitters Drive the wet mop, not Drag it I did really appreciate when Martin Hall acknowledged how instrumental TGM has been to his career on School of Golf. It's nice to see The Yellow Book getting out there, slowly but surely. It seems like I'm the only one in my neck of the woods that knows about it still

Probably just a result of how far Shelton is from Seattle where Homer lived.

More so in catching up with the times than in miles Though I do love not having to drive around for fifteen minutes looking for parking
