In my opinion, he is an excellent instructor. He teaches on Randalls Island and at Velocity Sports (133 E.58th St. in Manhattan). He really knows his stuff, is very patient (very important to me because I am still a hacker) and personable, and will give you as much or as little TGM terminology as you want.
