Yes = because you are "delofting" or "hooding" through impact and making that 9 iron an 8 iron for instance so it should go further and fly a little lower, not much though. However the INITIAL trajectory will be lower. The overall trajectory will be lower if you don't complete a full swing and stop before the finish. No = because you should be getting compression from the ball which means more backspin and more height.
