"Where" you release is Component 24. "How" you trigger the release is Component 20. The Trigger most compatible with the Full Sweep release is the Hand Throw. The Triggers most compatible with the Random Sweep release are the Right Arm Throw (Hitter's procedure) and the Shoulder Turn Throw (Swinger's procedure).

Using the pivot (Shoulder Turn Throw) and/or right arm (Right Arm Throw) as you did would be compatible with your feeling that you were getting an earlier (Random Sweep) release.

Delivery Path throws and Hand throws are more compatible with the later, Snap release.

Thanks, your explanation clears up the inter-relationships. Now I need to determine if I'm using the Right Arm or the Shoulder Turn Throw.
