Impact fix, though it appears to be a simple move forward with the hands, should be checked by your AI as routine. I battle with a snap hook from time to time (Usually when the cart path is to the right ) and it is from the clubface closing from square to shut.

And yes, that open clubface can play bugger with old computer files in your head. Delete and re-write.
