If i specifically focus on trying to delay the hit (or at the range put a hurdle behind the ball that means i can't lose the lag early) then things go pear shaped and i either top it or shank it from the inside dragging the hosel into the ball. Any ideas or drills that i could work on? I don't have a good video from the range but i've attached one i took in the back yard without a ball.
