I read the book in a sitting in Barnes & Noble. The Power Package alignments should come with a warning label. Regarding Hogan 'secrets' and the mystique surrounding them, all I can say is...

Thank God for Homer Kelley.

I took a 2-day weekend group lesson from John Schlee in the '80's....interesting person....he taught the importance of having a very set pre-shot routine that included breathing in and out prior to swinging. He talked about how he lost the Open because he was distracted during an important shot and did not start his routine over prior his swing...it seemed to trouble him that he did not restart the whole swing routine. He was a tall fellow...I recall that he taught that one could make an entire swing with all the weight on the front foot. He could really hit the ball long. He told me that I needed to learn how to start my downswing with a forward knee move to the target. He taught at the Olympia Golf Facility near La Costa.
