I thought it might be the standard lag pressure drill where you hit 1 club different distances, but it looked weird to see his drive hit the ground 10 to 20 yards out from his tee. I think if I tried to hit my drive 150 yards, I'd have more carry...maybe not...maybe I'll try it

I thought you could take your grip however you'd like as long as the left wedge is intact? Are you just saying with the alignment he's chosen, it's hard to keep the left wedge intact and maintain rhthym? What's stopping him from taking that weaker left hand grip if he takes his grip at fix?
