Yes - I'm hearing that loud and clear.
There are a lot of "fluff" posts.

We don't want lots of posts just for the sake of posting.
(But as a sportsman I do enjoy a good jousting match now and then, as long as it's all in fun ).

If we put up incentives that kind of thing can happen, but once in a while an active poster comes up with something pretty good.

Only a small percentage of our 4,000+ members are active here. In fact, it's around 1 to 2%.
That's the problem. How do we draw out more activity and questions? 10% would be great! 25% would be awesome.

No matter what your level of TGM understanding, there are still questions to be asked and answers to be shared.

Over the last 7 years, Homers work has given a lot of joy to me both on and off the course. One of the reasons I volunteered to start this forum with Lynn was to freely give back what was freely given to me. That may sound idealistic, but what would have happened if I just thought nah...too much trouble, there's enough out there already and I don't know nuth'in about websites anyway.

The three of us who voluntarily develop and run this site do it to help Lynn get the message out. It's also a place where "Iron sharpens Iron" and we can learn from each other. I'm hoping that our learned "inactive" members feel a need to help others who are struggling to sort out the "mysteries" of golf like they once were.

We have some great talent here; Professional Golfers, Amateur Golfers, Club Designers and Fitters, World Class Teachers, Photographers, Animators, Web designers, Entertainers, Fitness Gurus, etc. who keep this place going.

What kinds of things does this website need in order to address the needs of those who are lurking?
I learned a long time ago to develop products based on what customers tell me they want.

Sunday sermon concluded - Go out and spread the word.

Suggestion box is open.
