I agree with Bucket, he's not really swinging left, he's just swinging on plane after impact. I call it replaning the club. Hogan and Snead were two of the best in this respect. The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far").
