You fail to understand the concept of marketing. Lower not low quality wines are made to increase sales to a wider audience not interested in spending 40+ dollars on a bottle of wine. I drink lower quality French reds from George Duboeuf that are outstanding at less then 12 dollars a bottle. I would never have bought a more expensive bottle- if they do. Too many vinyards are exclusionary. Wine for the people. I have had some of the Els and Frost red wines both okay- nothing to get excited about. Frost has better wines right now because his vineyards are maturing as are his barrels. Els will in time. Both a committed to the product. As celebrity wines go- Francis Ford Coppola has made some nice over priced wines. I haven't seen a Jerry Garcia bottle of wine in a while- very mellow with good legs and a repeatable buzz. 6bmike View Public Profile Send a private message to 6bmike Find all posts by 6bmike
