That has been the topic of my research for the last 5 years. Seems very small, but the movement of the center of mass in this sequence versus another will have an effect on the alignment of the left shoulder at impact. This will of course effect ball position, plane line, etc.... The newest Golf Digest has a pic of Tiger on the front cover. Comparing that image to the sequences in Wood's book, "How I Play Golf"; one can easily note the pivot sequence change. It is not that of Mac, but instead the neck is centered, the hips have hula-hula, the center mass is forward, the femur vertical etc... The Tiger pic does not prove that he is using thefinalmissingpiece, as Mr. Hogan did, however is does confirm that he is not going to have low point moving back in the golf swing.
