It is fun to see greatness and talent beyond what anyone has yet to see. For some it is even more fun to see that greatness fall . . . that says something about society as well. I don't feel bad for Tiger but I do feel bad for his children.

The bottom line is he was/is really good at a GAME . . . period. Our society's values were more instrumental in making him rich than his talent. I understand that economics are about allocation of scarce resources . . . but economics is also about what the market values . . . and the market's values were in line with Eldrick Tiger Woods Inc.

Some have said that people are interested in this story because Tiger had a "THE PERFECT LIFE" . . . RICH . . . HOT WIFE . . . TALENT . . . BEST EVER AT A GAME . . . FAMOUS . . . GOOD LOOKING. And they don't understand how his life could be lacking that he would "step out" on his old lady. There's probably some of that . . . but to me this is just plain not caring. He wants this to be private but he wants to be on my TV 24/7 pimping Nike, cars, razors etc. . . . sorry . . . the media does what they do and he KNOWS what they do . . . but Tiger did this to his family NOT the media. Team Tiger has used the media to their advantage and now the shoe is on the other foot. He will suceed at keeping this a private matter about as well as he he did in keeping his affairs private . . . not so good.

His dad said he would have "more impact than Ghandi." Tall order to fill . . . even taller now.
