We didn't follow tracks, but found our own way through the forest. This often included some of the worst surfaces you can imagine. Rubber soles work pretty well everywhere except on wet & slippery rocks. Metal spikes is the only thing that guarantees you good grip on anything, but it is not good for your health to walk on metal. A good rubber sole should be plenty good for golf. Any golf shoe manufacturers listening here?
